JOB DESCRIPTION: History Teacher
1. Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or any related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
2. Teaching certification or license in History or Social Studies.
3. Proven experience teaching history to Junior Secondary School students(JSS1-3).
4. In-depth knowledge of historical events, civilizations, and cultural developments.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
6. Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
8. Proficiency in utilizing technology for instructional purposes.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate History Teacher to join our educational institution. The History Teacher will be responsible for instructing and inspiring students in various aspects of History, including theory, and History appreciation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in History, excellent instructional skills, and a commitment to fostering a love and understanding of History in students.
Requirements:

Proficiency in vocal coaching and instruction (for vocal-focused positions).

Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
Familiarity with History software, digital audio workstations, and other History-related technology.
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching History.
